Top Educators in Southern Oklahoma were honored May 10, 2016 at the inaugural Mid-Continental Broadcasting Excellence in Education banquet in Durant.
Monthly winners were picked during the course of the school year with Abbie El-Katib, a teacher at Northwest Heights in Durant, being named educator of the year.
